Sky Routes — Privacy Policy
Summary
Sky Routes is a single-player iOS game. We do not run servers, we do not have user accounts, and we do not collect personal information. Your game is saved on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account. We never receive it.
Data We Do Not Collect
- Names, email addresses, or contact information
- Location data, contacts, photos, or microphone input
- Advertising identifiers (we serve no ads)
- Behavioral analytics or third-party tracking
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
Your game progress (routes, fleet, alliances, news, achievements) is saved on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. It can be deleted at any time by deleting the app or using the in-game "Reset Save" function.
iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud with iCloud Drive turned on, Sky Routes saves a copy of your game in the app's private area of your iCloud Drive, so you can continue on another device. The copy contains only game data (your airline name and the state of your game) plus the device type (e.g. "iPhone") and the time it was saved. It is stored by Apple in your iCloud account; we have no access to it. You can turn this off in the game's Settings → iCloud, and remove the copy in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.
Apple Game Center
If you choose to sign in to Apple Game Center, the app submits your cumulative revenue score to a public leaderboard managed by Apple, where it appears under your Game Center player name. Game Center activity is governed by Apple's Game Center terms and privacy policy. You can opt out at any time through iOS Settings → Game Center.
Local Notifications
The app schedules local notifications (e.g., return reminders) on your device. These are scheduled and delivered locally by iOS. No notification content is transmitted to us.
Apple App Analytics & TestFlight
If you participate in our TestFlight beta, Apple may collect crash logs, performance metrics, and usage data on our behalf, governed by Apple's privacy policy. We see only aggregate, anonymized data. We do not link this data to any identity.
Children's Privacy
Sky Routes is rated for ages 4+ and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Effective" date above. Material changes affecting how the app handles data on your device will be announced in app release notes.
